Bucket Test & Application Depth Templates

Primary Insight have provided simple 'Bucket Test' and 'Application Depth' templates to support irrigators easily check irrigator performance and meet Farm Plan or market audit requirements.

The template calculation methods are consistent with those detailed in the NZ Performance Assessment Code of Practice and International literature.

The Bucket Test templates are irrigation system specific and calculate Average Application Depth and three measures of Application Uniformity - Low Quarter and High Quarter Distribution Uniformity, and Coefficient of Irrigation Uniformity. A graph is also generated to assist irrigators understand their results.

The Application Depth template is for Orchards and Vineyards and calculates the irrigation being applied per hour per hectare and in the wetted area for both measured and design flow rates.
